Life isn't always gentle on us. Sometimes, young and old, find themselves in a loop of frustration, fear, or anxiety. We may then experience life as someone who is overwhelmed, shutdown, and, perhaps, as someone who is down-right hard on ourselves and those who care for us.
When our feelings and our actions take us away from existing in a safe and healthy place, caring people often try to 'help'. Teachers are, by our very nature, caring people. Having often been in a position of 'advice giving', and while I value this confidence you put in me, I am by far not an 'expert' in life management, so I feel it is important this space helps people connect to experienced providers of mental wellness services.
Work on oneself is always a process and often not an easy one. I would encourage you to take on work that helps you sort out the challenges of life. This work is a process that can, with support and intention, help you reap the rewards of what we all want: to live life as a whole, healthy and self-aware individual. *Note: In no way do I claim the following are a substitute for having real conversations with the people in your life who can be the providers of the direction, support and encouragement all of us need at various times in our lives. The following are a place to go if you are feeling lost and in need of professional helping conversations.
